The purpose of European Open Cloud is to provide researchers, students, academic institutions, data providers and SME across Europe and beyond with a secure, scalable, and collaborative cloud infrastructure orchestration layer. It enables National Research and Education Networks (NRENs), HPC centers, and AI factories to store, process, and analyse data efficiently and securely, while fostering cross-border collaboration and supporting open (citizens) science. By offering an open-source, community-driven platform, European Open Cloud strengthens the European scientific cloud ecosystem and empowers users to tackle complex societal challenges together and accelerate scientific and technological progress.
